PURPOSE: A drum brake device with a noise reduction member is provided to reduce vibration transmitted to a spindle and to thoroughly suppress noise by interposing the noise reduction member made of rubber-steel composite materials between a drum brake backplate and the spindle. CONSTITUTION: In a drum brake device with a noise reduction member(10), a retainer plate(5) is interposed between a drum(4) and a backplate(6), and the drum, the retainer plate, and the backplate are successively inserted and fastened in a spindle(7) mounted to a rear axle(8). The noise reduction member made of composite materials is interposed between the backplate and the spindle, to reduce vibration transmitted to the spindle in operating the drum brake and suppress noise.
