<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a differential image suitable for observation between two images to be targets of comparative trace reading irrespective of whether or not the images are processed. <P>SOLUTION: For inputted different images P1, P2 of one object defined as the targets of comparison, a discrimination means 10 discriminates whether or not the images P1, P2 are processed images based on pieces of processed confirmation information Z1, Z2 attached to the images P1, P2. A compensation means 20 compensates the image discriminated to be a processed image processed by the discrimination means 10 to obtain an image equivalent to an image before image processing is performed to it based on image processing condition information expressing the condition of the image processing performed to the image attached to the images. An inter-image operation means 40 performs an inter-image operation by using the image which is an image not yet processed to be a target of the inter-image operation positioned by a positioning means 30 or the compensated image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
