<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for designating boring into a box which prevents losses in placing an order for a box, by preventing a customer from making errors in designating a boring position. <P>SOLUTION: The customer uses a selection means 4 to select a desired box from within a box database 1. The drawing data 3 of the box selected are read from the database 1 and displayed on a screen as a drawing with a borable range 6. The customer designates the boring position on the drawing by using CAD software or the like and sends the position to a manufacturer's server 10.
