<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect a rental fee according to operation days or operation hours about a rented and used device, and to economically and easily find the operation days and hours. <P>SOLUTION: This rental device has at least a use-disabling means 11 temporarily disabling the device, and a use-enabling means 12 making the temporarily-unusable device usable.
