SOLUTION: This remodeling support server 1 managed by a manufacturer who manufactures luminaires is connected to a customer terminal 2 managed by a customer through a network NT such as the Internet and a workshop terminal 3 managed by a workshop. The remodeling support server has a proposal database DB2 storing existing luminaires sold in the past in conformation with replaceable and manufacturable alternate luminaires. When a customer inputs product information for specifying an existing luminaire to a web page presented by a web page presentation means 11, a remodeling proposal means 10 extracts an alternate luminaire corresponding to the existing luminaire from the proposal database DB1 and presents it to the web page through the web page presentation means 11.
