<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always properly light a tip of a bit, regardless of the size of a chuck and length of the bit. <P>SOLUTION: A light unit 8 is arranged in a space formed between an operating sleeve 3 and a main body 2 within the operating sleeve 3 of the chuck 1. The light unit 8 comprises a substrate 9 fixed to an inner peripheral surface of the operating sleeve 3, LEDs 10 provided at three portions at equal intervals in a peripheral direction on the substrate 9, and a button battery 11 connected to the substrate 9. In the substrate 9, a circuit in which each of the LEDs 10 is electrically connected in parallel by making the button battery 11 as a power source is formed. A slide type switch 12 to turn ON/OFF the circuit is provided on the substrate 9 and is exposed to the outside of the operating sleeve 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
