<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly perform transfer/set of recording media and the like regardless of the variation in distance intrinsic to the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The rise time of a motor current to be supplied to a motor 1 driven with constant current before the motor current attains a reference value is measured and in case the rise time does not coincide with the set time set in order to detect the abnormality of the motor, the transfer of the medium for transfer is discontinued by forcibly stopping the motor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
