PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cancel a service rendered unnecessary, in a vehicle position information notification system wherein a center receives an external request for a search for the position of a vehicle, and according to the search request, acquires position information from the vehicle to return the position information to the search requester. SOLUTION: The vehicle position information notification system is so designed that a radio communication device on a vehicle, when detecting an operation of opening a door, transmits a door opening signal to the center.
