PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device having the function of searching for a plurality of courses up to a destination and enabling a user to easily comprehend a difference between courses obtained by the searching. SOLUTION: When a search for a plurality of courses is finished, this navigation device computes differences between the courses and extracts the name of a road representing each course among courses of differences by using map data. For example, the name of a road high in link class predetermined according to the importance of the road is extracted and the name of the extracted road is displayed near a course when the course is displayed on a display device.
