PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display use information on each facility attached to an expressway in a form facilitating both the grasp of a facility which a user desires to use and the grasp of the locational relation among the facilities. SOLUTION: A type of equipment previously selected by the user is registered in a highlight guidance facility list 304. In travelling in an expressway, the closing line of a facility information display box 503 for displaying facility information on facilities having the equipment of the type of equipment registered in the highlighting guidance facility list 304 is thickened, and the display of the type of facilities in the facility information display box 503 is surrounded with a closing line and displayed. The luminance of the backgrounds in the boxes of other facility information display boxes 503 is reduced and displayed. Each facility information display box 503 is arranged in the order of locations viewed from a present location and displayed in such a way that the sizes of the facility information display boxes 503 are reduced with distance. By controlling the level of highlighting in this way, guidance is performed by highlighting the facility having the equipment of the type of equipment previously selected by the user more than other facilities.
