PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless LAN system or a wireless LAN station capable of easily coping with a difference in a wireless specification in each country or area when enabling to make communication by interconnecting PCs etc. via a wireless LAN. SOLUTION: The wireless LAN system 10 enables data communication by interconnecting PCs etc. The system 10 includes a wireless LAN driver 20 composed of a time zone information storing table 21 for storing time zone information, a member country deciding section 22 for deciding a member country in each time zone, an individual country various presetting data storing table 23 for storing individual country various presetting data, a presetting section 24 for reading necessary data from the table 23 and presetting the data, and a device driver 25 preset on the basis of the information of the presetting section 24.
