<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical waveguide forming/inspecting apparatus capable of easily performing inspection as to whether an optical waveguide is formed or not, measurement of the connection loss of the optical waveguide or the like in a short period of time in forming the optical waveguide. <P>SOLUTION: The optical waveguide forming/inspecting apparatus includes an optical branching and coupling device which can be optically connected to optical wiring, an exciting light source which is optically connected to the optical branching and coupling device, a signal light source, and a photodetector. The optical branching and coupling device, the signal light source, and the photodetector are so constituted that the photodetector can receive the light from the signal light source through the optical branching and coupling device and the optical wiring. The optical branching and coupling device and the exciting light source are so constituted that the light from the exciting light source can be emitted from the side opposite to the side of this optical wiring connected to the optical branching and coupling device through the optical branching and coupling device and the optical wiring connected to the optical branching and coupling device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
