<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric parking brake device that can assure brake force of a parking brake more suitably after the parking brake is in an operation mode. <P>SOLUTION: This electric parking brake device 10 performs a parking brake operation control to put parking brakes 40L and 40R into an operation mode by operating an electric motor 21 until tension of a basic wire 31 reaches a predetermined target tension when the driver operates an operation switch 61 once, and after that, performs the parking brake operation control again at a point when a re-operation time passes, set in accordance with a temperature difference between an estimated temperature of a service brake SBL and the SBR and an outside temperature, a point when the position of a shift lever SL is changed, a point when a vehicle height varies more than a predetermined value, and a point when a brake pedal BP is released if the brake pedal BP has been operated at the time when the parking brake operation control ends. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
