<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste collection management system and a waste collection management method for efficiently and easily collecting information on wastes when collecting wastes. <P>SOLUTION: The waste collection management system comprises an ID tag which is fitted to or mixed with each discharge unit of wastes with waste management information written therein, an information reader for reading waste management information written in the ID tag in a non-contact manner, a first storage means to store waste information, and a second storage means to transfer the waste information from the first storage means and store it.
