PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave shield transparent body capable of holding a surface of a display clean, and the display. SOLUTION: A PC is formed in the form of a film by a known method, and a main body layer 3 is manufactured. An undercoat layer 5 composed of ZnO and a transparent photocatalyst layer 7 composed of TiO<SB>2</SB>are sequentially formed on one side of the main body layer 3 by sputtering. Further, a transparent conductive layer 9 composed of ITO is formed on a surface opposite to the main body layer 3 by sputtering to complete an electromagnetic wave shield transparent body 1. Further, the electromagnetic wave shield transparent body 1 is stuck to a surface of a known pocket telephone light crystal display so that the transparent photocatalyst layer 7 comes to a front side, to complete the display.
