PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply detect the position of a lift rod cylinder in a low cost. SOLUTION: The lift rod cylinder 114 for operating a rotary apparatus in an inclined state has a cylinder case 114a and an actuation rod 114b which is slidable in the cylinder case 114a and a detection means 117 for detecting the position of the lift rod cylinder 114 has a rotary potentiometer 116 attached to the cylinder case 114a, and a detection link 118 for interlocking a detection shaft 116a of the rotary potentiometer 116 with the actuation rod 114b and connecting the detection shaft 116a to the actuation rod 114b. As a result, the position of the lift rod cylinder 114 can be detected at a low cost, compared with a case when using a linear type sensor. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
