PULSE CONTROL APPARATUS USED FOR CONTROLLING A STEPPING MOTOR

PURPOSE: A pulse control apparatus is provided to operate a stepping motor with improved characteristics by improving pulse duty variation phenomenon generated while controlling the stepping motor. CONSTITUTION: A CPU clock generation unit(26) generates a clock provided to a CPU(20). A timer(23) generates an interrupt to change a frequency of a pulse or to allow or prohibit the output of the pulse. The CPU generates a reference clock, and outputs a divided value according to the ratio of a desired frequency as to the frequency of the reference clock, and outputs an output prohibition signal to allow or prohibit the output of the pulse to control rotation of a motor. A control unit(24) prevents or allows the reference clock from the CPU by the output prohibition signal. A divider(25) divides the reference clock from the control unit into a pulse signal proportional to the divided value from the CPU. A ROM(22) stores an operation program of the CPU. And a RAM(21) stores parameters and data generated during the program operation of the CPU.
