PURPOSE: A method and device for drilling gate holes in an injection mold is provided to reduce working time and improve the precision of the gate hole. CONSTITUTION: A method for drilling gate holes in an injection mold comprises the steps of; manufacturing a gate drill(1) having incline surfaces(2); setting the center of raw material; drilling a vertical hole in the raw material with a large drill; reaming the vertical hole with a tapered reamer; drilling the gate hole with the gate drill; and separating a mold from a worktable.
