PURPOSE: A system and a method for a mobile image AD(ADvertisement) are provided to maximize an AD effect by inducing an interest for the image AD realized in a mobile terminal via a coupon. CONSTITUTION: A customer management database(310) stores the personal information including a mobile terminal telephone number of a customer, the ID information of each member shop, and the coupon information. A short message processor(320) transmits a guide message for receiving the coupon to the mobile terminal of the customer stored in the customer management database by a coupon issuance request from the member shop. An AD index database(330) stores the image coupon information for each coupon including the location information of an AD image file. A media database(340) stores the AD image files of each coupon fixed in the AD index database. A coupon transmitter(350) transmits the image coupon information and the coupon information to the mobile terminal by an input signal from the mobile terminal. A media transmitter(360) streams the AD image file stored in the media database to the mobile terminal by a coupon selection signal.
