PURPOSE: A method of making the titled clear soup using Herba houttuyniae extract is provided. The product contains decanoyl acetaldehyde having antibacterial action, quercitrin having diuretic action and rutin having capillary blood tube enhancing action and has characteristic taste and flavor of a clear soup with wheat flakes in it(sujebi) and Herba houttuyniae. CONSTITUTION: Herba houttuyniae is heated with fresh water for about 1hr at 200deg.C until the amount of fresh water is reduced in 20%, added with fish bones, kelp and MSG and heated for about 1hr to produce a Herba houttuyniae gravy. About 20% by weight of Herba houttuyniae powder is mixed with 80% by weight of wheat flour and kneaded with water to produce a Herba houttuyniae and wheat flour dough. After cutting the dough to pieces, it is put into the Herba houttuyniae gravy and then heated with a seasoning material containing green onion, garlic, salt, perilla oil or the like. |
