METHOD FOR PRODUCING COMPOST USING ORGANIC WASTES AND COMPOST PRODUCED THEREFROM

PURPOSE: A method for producing compost is provided to recycle organic wastes such as animal excrement and food leftovers, etc., improve the soil property and prevent environmental pollution. CONSTITUTION: The method for producing compost comprises the steps of: storing the organic wastes in a hopper; adding a deodorizing agent to the organic wastes in the hopper for removing smells generated from the organic wastes; drying the deodorized organic wastes in a drying chamber at 75-85 deg.C for 4 hours, while fermentation is simultaneously proceeded; adding an inorganic compound such as calcium oxide or zeolite to the dried and fermented product and mixing them; molding the resulted mixture; cooling the molded mixture for improving its binding property; and packaging the resulted compost.
