PURPOSE: A self-fastening bolt and nut assembly is provided to prevent a bolt from being released. CONSTITUTION: A self-fastening bolt and nut assembly includes a bolt(10) and a nut. The bolt includes a primary thread section(12) formed in a first predetermined spiral pattern and a secondary thread section(14) formed in a second predetermined spiral pattern opposite to the first predetermined spiral pattern. The diameter of the primary thread section(12) is larger than the diameter of the secondary thread section(14). The nut includes a primary nut(20) screw-coupled with the primary thread section(12) and a secondary nut(30) screw-coupled with the secondary thread section(14).
