A computer system and method for calculating and estimating bulk product cost differentials is disclosed herein. Aspects of the invention improve upon modern methods for processing and evaluating bulk product items like salt or animal feed by reducing marketing costs while increasing product visibility. Furthermore, aspects of the invention allow a potential client to manipulate a variety factors and variables to customize a pricing estimate for their specific need. Once the factors have been defined, the estimator may automatically determine cost differentials for a single product or for comparing multiple products. Another aspect of the invention allows a client to seamlessly transition between configuring a cost savings estimate and purchasing the product. The invention may also be implemented in a variety of ways, including on a network like the Internet. An option may also exist that allows clients to input their own variables or factors or to submit customized methods for determining costs. |
