METHOD FOR TRANSCEIVING FAX DATA IN MOBILE TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A method for transceiving fax data in a mobile terminal is provided to read a receiving fax number, and to convert into a fax document, then to transmit the converted fax document to a computer or a facsimile corresponding to the fax number, thereby transceiving fax data between a mobile terminal and the computer. CONSTITUTION: A fax server receives a fax transmission request signal of a mobile terminal from a mobile switching center. The fax server detects a header portion of the request signal, reads a receiving fax number, and converts into a fax document by detecting a data portion. The fax server transmits the converted fax document to a computer or a facsimile corresponding to the read receiving fax number. If the fax document is converted by a conversion setting of a user or the conversion setting is not established, the fax document is converted into an automatic value preset in the fax server.
