Variable vane arm/unison ring attachment system

An attachment system for use with a variable incidence vane includes a vane arm (102) for joining a unison ring (15) to a vane spindle (26). The vane arm (102) has an arm portion (104) and a bushing (106) connected to the arm portion (104). The attachment system further has a pin (114) for joining the vane arm (102) to the unison ring (15). The pin (114) fits within an interior bore (112) in the bushing (106) and is joined to the unison ring (15) by a dual swage (116,118).
