PURPOSE: Provided is a composition of black tooth paste using charcoal powder which is useful for the treatment of gingivitis, prevent discoloration of tooth, and inhibits the growth bacteria in oral cavity. CONSTITUTION: In a composition of black tooth paste containing one of colloidal silicon dioxide and sodium monofluorophosphate as a main ingredient; a humectant selected from glycerine, polyethylene glycol or D-sorbitol; a viscosity controlling agent selected from water containing silicate, chits or carboxymethylcellulose sodium; one of xylitol and stevioside as a sweetener; lauryl sodiumsulfate as a foaming agent, titanium oxide as a whitening agent; and one of optamint and ginseng as a flavoring agent, it is characterized by 0.01-0.1 wt.% of one or two selected from grape fruit seed extract, green tea extract, propolis extract and apple extract as a diluent and 2-3 wt.% of charcoal powder.
