METHOD FOR DESIGNING GEROTOR PUMP HAVING OPTIMAL TROCHOID TOOTH FORM

PURPOSE: A method for designing a gerotor pump having an optimal trochoid tooth form is provided to offer the optimal trochoid tooth form for maximizing a flow rate and minimizing irregularity by a new tooth form equation induced from a characteristic of a gerotor. CONSTITUTION: An inducing parameter for the tooth form equation of an internal rotor is inputted, and a locus of the internal rotor is generated by the tooth form equation(200). The locus of an outer rotor is generated from the internal locus by the tooth form equation(210). The tooth form of the gerotor pump is generated by correcting an offset between the internal and the external locus(230). The flow rate and the irregularity are calculated for the generated tooth form of the gerotor pump(240). The optimal tooth form is decided from a plurality of the tooth forms(270).
