Drive for a leaf of a door or a window comprises a housing (2) with a receiving chamber for supporting the drive. The housing has a dimensionally stabilizing insert (7'). The required housing wall thickness is formed at least in sections by an inner and outer cover layer of plastic (11) on the insert. An Independent claim is also included for an alternative drive. Preferred Features: The insert is made in one piece. The insert is made from metal as a stamped/bent component or by an inner high pressure forming process, or from plastic by injection molding or casting. |
