The munition (1) comprises a projectile (2), a propellant charge (3) and an igniter (5) in an end cap (6). The propellant charge comprises at least one compressed block (4) covered by a protective sleeve (7), while the end cap is attached to the rear of the projectile by a connector (12). A connecting ring (14) attached to the projectile surrounds at least part of the charge block, and has a cylindrical projection (14a) surrounded by the sleeve. Preferred Features: The sleeve is made from a thermoshrink or composition material associated with a reinforcement and binding agent.
