PURPOSE: A device and a method for converting the direction of an intake hole are provided to convert the direction of an intake hole according to the weather and an engine rpm for improving the intake efficiency and the fuel ratio. CONSTITUTION: A device for converting the direction of an intake hole includes an intake tube(10) rotatably mounted to an end of a tube way(13) communicated to an air cleaner(11). A driving motor(20) selectively rotates the intake tube. A rain/snow drop sensor(30) recognizes the snowing or raining weather. A control part(40) selectively rotate the intake tube according to the signals output from the rain/snow drop sensor and the engine rpm.
