PURPOSE: An apparatus for guiding slab bar into roughing mill is provided to prevent surface defects of strip generated by friction or impact of the apron and the slab bar by minimizing friction of slab bar with apron of slab guider, or preventing the slab bar from contacting with a friction object. CONSTITUTION: In a roughing mill comprising rolling stands having upper and lower work rolls(110,120), and a slab bar guider having upper and lower aprons(151) for guiding a slab bar (S) proceeded in a direction to a space between the work rolls so that the slab bar is finish rolled, the rotational roller mounted apparatus(1) for guiding the slab bar into the roughing mill comprises a receiving part(10) comprising an exposed hole(11) opened on the upper surface of the aprons so that an inner space of a certain size is formed in such a way that the inner space is depressed in the body of the aprons; a body of revolution comprising at least two or more of contact rollers(24) a part of the outer surface of which is exposed through the exposed hole so that the contact rollers touch front and rear ends of the slab bar, wherein the contact rollers are rotationally arranged in the receiving part; and a rotation motor for rotationally driving the body of revolution inside the receiving part so that the outer surface of the contact rollers is exposed through the exposed hole.
