摘要 PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for controlling the power sequence of a liquid crystal display device are provided to maintain the power sequence stable by preventing the change of the stabilization time of the gate low voltage and the sequence due to the stabilization time delay of the input driving voltage. CONSTITUTION: A method and an apparatus for controlling the power sequence of a liquid crystal display device a pulse width modulation(PWM)(24), a first charge pump(30) and a second charge pump(32). The PWM(24) delays the input driving voltage by a predetermined period, generates the PWM signal by pulse width modulating the input driving voltage or the delayed input driving voltage and outputs the PWM signal after a predetermined period is passed. The first charge pump(30) generates a gate low voltage as a turn-off voltage of a thin film transistor incorporated into the liquid crystal display device. And, the second charge pump(32) generates a gate high voltage as a turn-on voltage of the thin film transistor by delaying at a predetermined period.
