APPARATUS FOR REMOVING CONDENSATE WATER CONTAINED IN COKE OVEN GAS

PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing condensate water contained in coke oven gas is provided to prevent various troubles of line facility due to the condensate water when injecting coke oven gas into the line facility by effectively removing condensate water (condensate water mist) contained in coke oven gas. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a cylindrical body(10) installed on the body of condensate water mist separator in a desulfurizing facility of coke oven gas (G); a plurality of driving means(30) installed perpendicularly to a rotation shaft(32) installed at the outer wall side of the cylindrical body in such a manner that the rotation shaft is rotated in forward and reverse directions; partition wall means(50) a plurality of which are alternately arranged inside the cylindrical body to control flow of gas; and condensate water absorption means(70) installed on the partition wall means in such a way that the condensate water absorption means are pressed by the driving means to absorb condensate water contained in the gas ascended, wherein the cylindrical body is fixed to right above the separator with a lower part of the cylindrical body being opened so that the cylindrical body is communicated with the separator through a discharge opening(202a) formed on body of the separator, and a separator discharge pipe(206) is connected to an upper part of the cylindrical body, wherein a wire(36) connected to solenoid block(34) installed on the outer wall of the cylindrical body on the body of the separator is connected to the rotation shaft of the driving means through guides(38a,38b), upper and lower parts of the rotation shaft are installed on the body of the separator and the cylindrical body in such a manner that the upper and lower parts of the rotation shaft are rotated through bearing, and a spring box(40) is connected to a lower part of the rotation shaft so that the rotation shaft is rotated in forward and reverse directions by the solenoid block and the spring box.
