METHOD FOR RECOVERING NICKEL FROM NICKEL WASTE LIQUID AND NICKEL HYDROXIDE SLUDGE

PURPOSE: A method for recovering a nickel element from a nickel waste liquid and a nickel hydroxide sludge is provided to help to efficiently recover nickel from industrial wastes and efficiently purify the wastewater being free of nickel from the recovery process. CONSTITUTION: The method for recovering nickel from a nickel waste liquid and nickel hydroxide sludge comprises the steps of: mixing the nickel waste liquid and the nickel hydroxide sludge with hydrochloric acid while stirring; removing impurities from the mixture by means of solvent extraction using an amine solution; and conducting electrolysis of the resulted nickel solution to obtain nickel.
