A papermaking assembly (1) feeds a first web (24) through first route (24) with a sharp-angled combined sequence of a horizontal and vertical pulley (30). The assembly also has a second web (5) and drive cable (25) routing through a second such pulley arrangement (32). Both cables (24, 25) are esp. on the same side of the machine (1). Both pulley units (30, 32) are position-adjustable and can be moved from a web pick-up position to a maintenance position. The pick up-positions are identical for both pairs of pulleys. When one pair of pulleys is in the pick-up position, the other pair is in the maintenance presentation. Both pairs of pulleys are supported by the same frame (33).
