Cryogenic valve device with pneumatic actuator

The cryogenic valve comprises a valve body (1) in which a cryogenic fluid circulates and a valve (2) located in the conduit and connected to a control rod (3) for opening and closing the valve. A pneumatic activator comprises a chamber (41) enclosing a piston (42) connected to the control rod. The chamber is supplied with a control gas for positioning the piston in a determined position. The activator is fixed to the valve body by a chamber (51) interposed between the activator and the body so as to thermally de-couple the activator from the body and maintain the activator temperature at a temperature between the valve body temperature and the ambient temperature.
