PURPOSE: A can or empty bottle-collecting system is provided to store the data of a thrower and the data of the collected empty cans and bottles, in a server and to give the price for the throwing to the thrower. CONSTITUTION: A can or empty bottle-collecting system comprises a can or empty bottle-collecting apparatus(10) and a server(30). The can or empty bottle-collecting apparatus comprises a processing unit(11) for detecting and processing threw cans or empty bottles; an input unit(12) for inputting of the identity data of the thrower of the cans or empty bottles; a connecting unit(13) for connecting to the server through a communications network; and a control unit(14) for controlling the operating relations of constituents of the collecting apparatus, calculating the input data of the threw cans or empty bottles with using the data detected from the processing unit, connecting to the server from a long distance through a connection device and a communications network, and transmitting and receiving the identity data of the thrower and input data of the threw cans or empty bottles. The server comprises membership database(31) storing the data of the members and a renewing unit(32) for renewing the data of the membership database.
