An LED display system including an optical module (9) and a power module (15), said optical module comprising at least one LED board (6), at leat one protective cover (2), at least one optical module cover (8) forming a seal for encapsulating said optical module against fluctuation in operating temperature within said module, a spacer arrangement (40) interposed between said optical module and said power module to minimise thermal effects of the power module.
