FIELD: toxic compounds, protective materials. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to investigation of methodology for evaluation of protective properties of materials against toxic chemicals, namely to a method for evaluation of permeability of beta,beta'-dichlorodiethylsulfoxide (DDS) across protective materials by spectral qualitative analysis method by the protective time effect (PTE) using beta-(chloroethyl)-butylsulfide as a mimicking agent of beta,beta'-dichlorodiethylsulfide (DDS) modeling the penetrating capacity of beta,beta'-dichlorodiethylsulfide (yperite) across protective materials of agents for individual protection. Method for determination of permeability of beta,beta'-dichlorodiethylsulfide across protective materials is carried out by spectral qualitative analysis method for protective time effect in using beta-(chloroethyl)-butylsulfide as a mimicking agent of beta,beta'-dichlorodiethylsulfide based on the scaling factor K = PTEDDS/PTEMIMICK wherein PTEDDS and PETMIMICK - time for protective effect of material, respectively, against beta,beta'-dichlorodiethylsulfide and a mimicking agent.
