FIELD: non-explosive sources of seismic waves utilized in process of seismic and prospecting operations in lakes, rivers and seas. ^ SUBSTANCE: seismic source comprises craft partially submerged into water and generator of acoustic signal. Generator has radiator, weight and source of linear mechanical force. Radiator is fabricated in the form of stiff plate-radiator, which shuts off hole in bottom of craft together with flexible waterproof sealing ring or membrane connecting plate with bottom. Weight rests against bottom of craft and can move upwards. First mobile part of source of linear mechanical force that is located in body of craft is linked to weight. Second mobile part of source of linear mechanical force is joined to striker mounted for downward movement. Striker is separated by air gap from plate-radiator or springy element put on it. ^ EFFECT: enhanced conversion factor of energy consumed by seismic source to seismic energy, reduced expenditures on its operation. ^ 2 cl, 12 dwg |
