FIELD: molecular biology, virology, medicinal biotechnology. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is designated for carrying out the express-diagnosis of orthopox-viral infections using multiplex PCR (polymerase chain reaction)-analysis. Primers pairs with specificity for each species of orthopox viruses are selected. Administration of additional primer pair to high-conservative region of these viruses as a positive control provides enhancing the sensitivity of method and to reduce probability for appearance of pseudonegative results. This approach provides improving the procedure of PCR-analysis for conventional using in diagnosis of orthopox-viral infections due to application of a single multiplex PCR-analysis. Multiplex PCR-analysis provides detecting viral material in a single reaction mixture without using additional methods of analysis that results to reducing time for diagnosis and percent of technological errors. ^ EFFECT: improved method for analysis, valuable biological properties of set. ^ 2 tbl, 10 dwg, 4 ex |
