FIELD: medicinal virology. ^ SUBSTANCE: active fractions of tick-borne encephalitis antigen are eluted from semi-finished product with starting and eluting buffer at effective pH value but preferably at pH > 7.5 unit. As eluting buffer the starting buffer can be used with addition of 0.1 M alkaline metal halides, for example, KCl and/or NaCl, and/or KBr. Antigen eluting zones are detected by any known method but preferably by immunoenzyme analysis method (IEA) being for elution active antigen fractions of tick-borne encephalitis are selected with values of isoelectric points 7.8 and 10.3. If necessary, antigen eluted fractions are subjected for additional treatment by gel-filtration method on sorbent able to absorb low-molecular impurities.
