FIELD: crude oil treatment and petroleum processing. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing of crude oil, oil slimes, and trap oils, in particular to treatment of persistent oil emulsions stabilized by suspended particles in oil dehydration and desalting processes. Emulsion is diluted with light hydrocarbon fraction, more particularly with anhydrous light or extralight petroleum at volume ratio of oil emulsion to light or extralight petroleum 1:(1-5). Mixture is then allowed to stand and oil extract is separated. The latter is preferably treated with water-soluble demulsifier and warmed to 30-35, after which stirred, settled, ad freed from separated water. ^ EFFECT: increased recovery of hydrocarbons from persistent oil emulsions without use of special chemicals and increased economical efficiency of process. ^ 2 cl, 2 tbl, 31 ex |
