PURPOSE: A system and a method for transmitting data between hardware and software are provided to enhance entire performance of the system through the prevention of memory waste by making the hardware and the software share/manage a queue part. CONSTITUTION: The queue part(70) stores the data to the queue. A queue controller(60) controls the queue part by equipping with a hardware structure and a software structure. The queue controller processes the data transmission between the software(50) and the hardware(40) by using a queue pointer. The hardware structure and the software structure comprise a hardware access field, a software access field, a hardware access point field, a software access point filed, a queue entry size field, and a queue depth field.
