PURPOSE: A system and a method for controlling the emission of a diesel vehicle are provided to reduce the emission by applying the difference between the intake temperatures and to improve the engine performance by increasing the emission limit fuel amount when the air sucked into an engine is cold. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling the emission of a diesel vehicle comprises the steps of detecting the vehicle drive information(S102), calculating the target fuel amount applied with the desire of a driver(S103), sampling the emission limit fuel amount depending on the present air amount and the engine rpm(S104), sampling the intake air temperature calibration coefficient(S105), applying the intake air temperature calibration coefficient to the emission limit fuel amount(S106), comparing the target fuel amount to the emission limit fuel amount applied with the calibration coefficient(S107), selecting the final fuel amount(S108), determining the injector drive time(S109), and injecting fuel(S110).
