THIN FILM TRANSISTOR SUBSTRATE OF MULTI-DOMAIN LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

PURPOSE: A thin film transistor substrate of a multi-domain LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to fabricate a stable multi-domain through an uncomplicated process. CONSTITUTION: A thin film transistor substrate includes an insulating substrate, the first signal line formed on the insulating substrate, the second signal line formed on the insulating substrate to intersect the first signal line, and the third signal line that is insulated from the second signal line and intersects the second signal line. The thin film transistor substrate further includes a pixel electrode formed at a pixel region, defined by the first and second signal lines, and divided into multiple regions by a cut portion, and a direction control electrode that is formed at the pixel region and has a predetermined portion superposed on the cut portion. The thin film transistor substrate also has the first thin film transistor(T1) connected to the pixel electrode, the first and second signal lines of a corresponding pixel, the second thin film transistor(T3) connected to the pixel electrode, the first signal line of a previous pixel and the second line of the corresponding pixel, and a thin film transistor(T2) for the direction control electrode, which is connected to the direction control electrode, the first and third signal lines of the previous pixel.
