PURPOSE: A mobile communication system for providing avatar service and a method therefor are provided to allow a user to transmit avatar dynamically expressing his/her feeling to the other party. CONSTITUTION: An caller terminal(110) and a callee terminal(112) have specific numbers. The mobile terminals(110,112) read an HTML(Hypertext Markup Language) document and communicate with an Internet server(102) and an avatar information management server(100) by using HTTP(Hypertext Transfer Protocol). The mobile terminals(110,112) set an avatar type, facial expression, emotional feeling, and behavior desired by a user by connecting to the avatar information management server(100) through an Internet network(104) in order to set avatar service. |
