METHOD FOR PREPARING COBALT OXIDE-SILICON DIOXIDE PILLARED CLAY OF DECOMPOSING CATALYST FOR NOx

PURPOSE: Provided is a method for preparing a CoO-SiO2 pillared clay of decomposing catalyst for NOx by which provided pillared clay of decomposing catalyst for NOx has good NOx decomposing activity and is able to replace ZSM-5 zeolite. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of (a) ion-exchanging an interlayered inorganic cation of interlayered clays with an alkyl ammonium cation; (b) after adding a silicon alkoxide, an alkyl amine and a metal salt of cobalt to the step (i), performing a hydrolysis and condensation reaction together with an intercalation reaction; and (c) heat-treating the obtained powder from the step (b).
