PURPOSE: A curtain rail system for a vehicle is provided to regulate the curtain to passengers' desire without regard to traveling conditions of the vehicle in folding or unfolding the curtain by limiting or re-operating a curtain holder by moving upward and downward a curtain rail along a curtain holder locking device fixed to a supporting rail. CONSTITUTION: A curtain rail system for a vehicle comprises a supporting rail(10) arranged along the longitudinal direction of an upper panel(60) of the vehicle; a curtain rail(20) and a pair of supporting faces(23) arranged to the lower end of the supporting rail along the longitudinal direction of the supporting rail with parallel to each other and protruded at the side outer periphery; a plurality of curtain holders(30,31,40,41,42) having rollers to connect with the curtain and move along the supporting faces of the curtain rail; and a curtain holder locking device(11) for connecting the supporting rail and the curtain rail, stopping the motion of the curtain holder by constraining the roller if the curtain rail moves to the uppermost end along the vertical length, and operating the curtain holder if the roller is separated from the uppermost end along the vertical length of the curtain rail.
