PURPOSE: A kimchi-refrigerator and a temperature control method thereof are provided, thereby accurately detecting the temperature of a kimchi storing vessel and appropriately controlling the inner temperature of the kimchi-refrigerator, so that kimchi can be freshly stored. CONSTITUTION: The kimchi-refrigerator comprises a body(11) with kimchi storing chambers(13), doors(15) connected to the body, a cooling means, kimchi storing vessels(61) containing a vessel body(63), and a wireless temperature sensor(51) in the bottom of the vessel body(63), and a controlling portion controlling the cooling means based on the data from the wireless temperature sensor(51) and a selected operation mode. The temperature control method comprises the steps of: installing the wireless temperature sensor in the Kimchi-storing vessel; detecting the temperature within the kimchi-refrigerator using the temperature sensor; and controlling the cooling means based on the data detected and the selected operation mode.
